Curriculum Contents (CC)

These classes focus on combinations specific to each rank.  Typically there is free time given to students to practice individually or within their rank group.

Power & Breaking (PB)

These classes focus on the Theory of Power and how to generate power in all techniques.  These classes are a good opportunity for students to practice the technique(s) they will be required to break with for their next test.  Time to practice on the school's set of re-breakable boards is also often a component of these classes.

Sparring Skills (SS)

These classes focus on sparring skills from contact levels to competition sparring to sparring strategies.  These classes often involve controlled contact sparring with the other students and ALL students are expected to bring the appropriate sparring gear to these classes.

Instructor's Choice (IC)

Instructor's choice means just that.  The designated instructor of the night is free to choose any of the themes listed above or perhaps bring a new element which will contribute to students' understanding and skills.  Classes designated as such require that sparring gear is brought by all students of appropriate rank as there may be a sparring component.

Patterns & Technical (PT)

These classes focus on the correct execution of individual techniques and/or the performance of Taekwon-Do Patterns.

Competition Preparation (CP)
